What do I do if I need to make any changes?
If you have one of Bluethumb’s dynamic websites, you can change most elements of the site through your admin control panel. If you have a standard HTML site, changes are charged at £30 per hour so it is advisable to ‘save a batch of changes up’ before submitting them.

Are there any other charges or hidden costs?
No. The design fees are a one off payment, the domain name (£12.95) and hosting (£30) are yearly fees and that’s it.

Can I transfer my existing site to Bluethumb?
Yes. We can transfer you current domain and copy your existing website to our servers for free.

Can I add pages or upgrade my web package at a later date?
Of course. Sometimes clients purchase our £80 website starter package and when the website proves its worth, they usually upgrade to our dynamic package so they can list all their products, have searches, sell online and be able to update the site themselves. Other clients purchase our £80 just to get started and create a web presence and then add to it later on when they are more financially sound.

What if I want to move away from Bluethumb?
If your domain has been registered for a minimum of sixty days, you can move to a different hosting company and we can give you the web design, but we cannot transfer the code and scripts.

Can I see any of Bluethumb’s work, or read reviews from clients?
Yes. Our port folio is on our website and we are listed of Freeindex.com and Touchlocal.co.uk where you can read and write customer reviews.

Can I buy other domain names and forward them to my website?
Yes. You can purchase any domain extension and we will point it to your site for free.

Can Bluethumb design our company logo?
Yes. We have a team of designers that can design anything from logos to letterheads.

What is the server up time?
Our servers have great track record with a 99.9% up time.

Do you offer Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) service?
Yes. We offer a full SEO service. All of the web sites Bluethumb designs are SEO friendly.

I have decided to use Bluethumb to design my site. What do I do next?
Try to gather as much information as possible i.e. web text, photographs, inspiration from other websites etc as the more information we have, the more detailed your site will be.

What scripting and design technologies do you offer?
We can write a web site using any technologies including HTML, ASP, Java Script, PHP and Flash.
I have gathered some text and photos I would like included in my web design.

What format should I save them in for Bluethumb?
Text should be supplied via email either in a Word document or PDF format and photos/ pictures in jpeg format. If you are unsure of this, then contact us and will offer further assistance.

Will we need to have a meeting in connection with the web design?
In the majority of cases, a meeting isn’t necessary and most of our websites are generally completed with contact via email and telephone only. We place suggested website designs onto the Internet in a private place where only you and us can view the content.

We then liaise with you regularly to discuss the web design are modify it to your complete satisfaction. If you would prefer a meeting, we will be pleased to arrange for a member of our team to visit you at your convenience.

Can you provide all our web design and hosting services?
Yes. We are your one stop company to provide all your web services which eliminates not knowing who to call if you have any problems. We can register your domain name, design your website, provide your web hosting and arrange your email accounts for you.

Can I get e-mail with my website?
Yes. This service is even included in our £80 started websites.

Do I need to install any software?
No.

Can Bluethumb help me with the text for the website?
Yes we can. Many clients use this service if they have difficulty not knowing what to write or simply do not have time.

Can Bluethumb take the photos for me?
Yes. We can visit you to take photos i.e. of products, premises, staff, etc.

How can I accept credit cards on my website?
There are various methods, you can talk to your bank and get an online merchant account or you could use a third party such as World pay or Paypal.

I already have a website and I need it updating, can you help me?
Yes, we would be happy to look at you existing website and give you a quote for updating it.

Do you redesign existing websites?
